Amy Scruggs has been known in the country music industry for more than 15 years and has opened for many Artists including Clint Black, Trace Adkins, Charlie Daniels, Phil Vassar, Little Texas, and many more.
From 2009-2012 she was the spokesperson for the American Veterans of California (AMVETS) performing at veteran and military events throughout the state. Amy has her full energy show with her country band the “Ghostriders” led by her son Ryan Scruggs. Although Amy is rooted in country music, she also performs jazz & pop, accompanying herself at the piano with recent openings for Tony Orlando, Chubby Checker and Frankie Avalon.
Amy's career also includes more than 20 years in sales team coaching and received a "Bestseller" with her book "Lights Camera Action" in the fall of 2021. Over 5 years she enjoyed her position as the Host for the show "The American Dream" on CNBC as well as being the former Producer & Host of "Veterans One" and "The Retiring Right" TV shows.
Amy uses her 20 years’ experience as a Media Executive, TV host, Recording Artist, Public Speaker, Corporate Spokesperson, providing media and communications coaching to corporate and private clients. Through individual and team training workshops she helps them enhance their communications and virtual media skills. She also advises entrepreneurs and startup companies on messaging, branding and how to develop marketing strategies.
Amy's newest EP project "Love Another Day" was Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee at Sound Emporium Studios with legendary Music Producer Fred Mollin. The EP Features songs from top Nashville writers and world class musicians including: Kerry Marx: Electric Guitar, John Willis: Acoustic Guitars Electric Guitars Banjo, Catherine Styron-Marx: Piano, B3 Wuritzer Synth Larry Paxton: Bass, Tommy Hardon: Drums and Percussion, Stuart Duncan: Fiddle, Scotty Sanders: Pedal Steel Guitar and Dobro, Fred Mollin: acoustic guitars and synth.
